  Terrible. This bank wanted to charge me 8% to cash a valid check from their own establishment. I have NEVER paid a fee for this from a BB&T bank. Then they want me to open an account? Why would I open an account where my clients wouldn't be able to cash my checks that I write them? I was not treated well, and this was not good for their branch. They told me to go back to my own bank and they refused to waive the fee because "that would be special treatment". The reason I bank with PNC and Wells Fargo is because they treat me great and make a point to do it. As this conversation is happening, the women at the counter are talking about this conversation. What a joke.

  I'm happy to say that when my son and I stepped foot in the door at BB&T, it was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Leslie is thorough, knowledgeable, and guided my son as he opened his first bank account at this conveniently located bank. Thank you Leslie Wright and associates for helping us feel welcome!
